Servicing

We recommend that your vehicle is serviced at regular intervals to maintain its condition and road worthiness.

Servicing can differ from vehicle to vehicle, the cost of which can differ too.

Therefore, we can check what type of service your vehicle requires at its specific mileage or age and quote you accordingly, so please contact us for a quote.

Carry out road test to check for normal operation of vehicle

Check operation of all warning lights

Check previous service history and manufacturers service schedule.

Check replacement intervals of timing belt and report (where applicable) *

Check operation of all switches, lights, horn, windscreen washers/wipers and seat belts.

Check condition of windscreen and mirrors.

Check operation of heater and air conditioning.

Renew cabin filter if applicable. *

Check operation of all doors and bonnet.

Lubricate door locks and hinges.

Check fuel cap condition

Inside The Engine Compartment

Check the cooling system including operation of cooling fan.

Check and report condition/strength of anti-freeze

Check and report condition of brake fluid. *

Check and top up washer fluid.

Check power steering system and top up fluid. (where applicable).

Check auxiliary drive belts.

Check condition of breather and vacuum hoses.

Check all Intake air hoses.

Check vehicle battery, charging and starting systems.

Check ignition system.

Check and replace spark plugs according to mileage (where applicable)*

Check and replace fuel filter according to mileage (where applicable).*

Replace air filter.

Vehicle Half Raised

Check wheel bearings.

Remove road wheels, clean and lubricate wheel hubs

Visual inspection of brake pads and discs.

Clean and adjust all brakes including rear brake shoes.

Check condition of all tyres and wheels

Check and adjust all tyre pressures including spare wheel.

Vehicle Raised

Carry out engine lubrication system flush.

Replace engine oil and oil filter.

Replace Drain plug Washer.

Check condition of fuel system.

Add an “in tank” fuel system treatment.

Check condition and security of exhaust system.

Check and top up transmission oil including transfer boxes and axles.

Check condition of drivetrain

Check all suspension components/joints/mountings/gators

Check all steering components/joints/mountings/gators

Lubricate all suspension/steering joints (where applicable)

Check underbody condition.

Vehicle Lowered

Refill engine oil with specific grade oil.

Torque all wheel nuts.

Carry out emissions test.

Reset service interval indicator.

Stamp service book.

Road test and report any findings.

Carry out MOT or Diagnostic check
